"Third Entity" Divides Religious Leaders in BiH
Banja Luka – The idea of establishing a third, Croatian entity in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which caused ripples after a conference of so-called traditionalists held recently in Zagreb, continues to produce political and social echoes, this time in the sphere of religious communities. The initiatives from the meeting, where a map of BiH with three or four units was promoted – Republika Srpska, a "Croatian Republic," a "Bosniak-Muslim Republic," and Brcko District – were mostly assessed as unconstitutional and difficult to achieve, with the note that they are partly linked to discussions about electoral rules and the position of Croats in the election of a member of the BiH Presidency.
