Testing of Serbian preschoolers has begun in earnest, and the first results are, unfortunately, very bad and devastating. Although our little ones know English very well, they do not know, as shown, some "basic" things, such as the fact that a goat gives milk, nor how to tie shoelaces. They also increasingly have, it is further emphasized, speech problems. They need speech therapists, and their motor skills are, as is further noted, insufficiently developed.
