Beautiful scene from Uvac reserve: Home to over 200 bird species, attracting visitors from around the world
The Uvac Special Nature Reserve is surrounded by the Zlatar, Murtenica, Čemernica, Javor, and Jadovnik mountains and covers an area of over seven and a half thousand hectares. The griffon vulture and meanders are the main magnets for tourists from all over the world, and until recently, it was believed that this area was home to about 130 bird species. Newer research has revealed much greater wealth.
