Serbia Has Caught a Good Trend in the Fight Against Cancer
The list of RFZO drugs was significantly expanded two years ago with innovative drugs, but there are now not enough clinical oncologists. As a system, we are losing the match on the conditions for receiving therapy. Facing a diagnosis of malignant disease changes everyone's life and raises many questions: from the first one, what awaits them in our health system, whether to be treated in a private or state hospital and whether they will receive the best drugs, to the most important one, whether they will recover and live.
TL;DR
- The RFZO drug list was significantly expanded with innovative medications two years ago.
- There is now a shortage of clinical oncologists.
- The system is losing ground concerning the conditions for receiving therapy.
- A cancer diagnosis leads patients to question their healthcare journey, treatment options, and prognosis.
