Evtropije, Kleonik, and Vasilisk were companions of Saint Theodore Tiron. When Theodore gloriously departed, they remained in prison, but were not condemned for long due to a change in the imperial governor in Amasea. When the new governor arrived, even more inhuman than his predecessor, he ordered these three to be brought before him.
