Trump Announces Three-Day Ceasefire Between Russia and Ukraine

U.S. President Donald Trump announced he has brokered a three-day ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine, set to take place from May 9-11 to coincide with Victory Day. The agreement includes a cessation of all kinetic activities and an exchange of 1,000 prisoners from each side. Following the announcement, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky issued a decree permitting a military parade in Moscow's Red Square on May 9th.
