  • Construction of the Sremska Mitrovica Milekića Salash transit pipeline with a booster station is ongoing.
  • The project is expected to be completed in the second half of July, with a deadline of July 21st.
  • The pipeline's route passes under a highway, making the project technically demanding.
  • The investment, worth approximately 60 million dinars, is financially supported by the Ministry of Public Investments.
  • This development will improve water supply security and reliability for about 2,450 residents in Veliki Radinci, Bešenovo, and Šuljam.
  • The new pipeline will allow for additional water quantities during the warmest months.
  • The previous system relied on a different, less direct route, and faced challenges due to increased tourism and water users in the Fruška Gora area.
