You Don't See This Picture Every Day! Belgrade is a GHOST TOWN: Desolation and Silence, Everyone Moved to Recreational Areas

Yesterday around 5 PM in Belgrade, there should have been the biggest crowd. You Don't See This Picture Every Day! Belgrade is a GHOST TOWN: Desolation and Silence, Everyone Moved to Recreational Areas

TL;DR

  • Belgrade was unusually empty on May 1st, a public holiday.
  • Normally busy areas like bridges and Autokomanda were deserted.
  • Popular picnic spots such as Košutnjak, Avala, and Ada Ciganlija were full of people.
  • Highways and toll ramps experienced long traffic queues.
