On May 3, 2023, a 13-year-old boy killed nine of his peers and a school guard, while severely wounding six others. The victims were: Ana Božović, Angelina Aćimović, Sofija Negić, Andrija Čikić, Bojana Asović, Ema Kobiljski, Katarina Martinović, Mara Anđelković, and Adriana Dukić, as well as security guard Dragan Vlahović.
