Exactly 40 years ago, in 1986, the text of the Memorandum of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts "leaked" to the public, which was interpreted by the vast majority of the intellectual public of the former Yugoslavia as a nationalistic and aggressive display of the intentions of the current Serbian "elite" and part of Serbian intellectuals, who expressed the positions of Serbian nationalism through this text, or rather the future breakdown of the Kosovo issue through unjustified claims about the endangerment of Serbs.
