Kurti's Revenge Against the Freedom of the Serbian People

Kosovska Mitrovica – Defendants in the Banjska case, Vladimir Tolić and Blagoje Spasojević, were sentenced yesterday in the Basic Court in Pristina in the first-instance proceedings to life imprisonment, while Dušan Maksimović was sentenced to 30 years in prison. Tolić, Spasojević, and Maksimović were accused by the so-called Kosovo Special Prosecutor's Office of "attack on the constitutional order, security of Kosovo and terrorism," and were arrested immediately after the events in Banjska on September 24, 2023. Srpska Lista expressed the sharpest condemnation of yesterday's verdict, "without presenting valid evidence, without establishing individual responsibility, and without clear reasoning for the specific actions taken by the defendants." As further stated, the aforementioned verdict will not satisfy the justice of the injured parties either and it represents retaliation that further endangers the security and rights of the Serbian people.
