Traffic load on Liberty Bridge reduced by 40 percent
Novi Sad will get two new modern bridges that will significantly improve traffic flow in Vojvodina and are almost certain to enable faster movement of goods and people, relieve city traffic, and directly impact the development of this part of Serbia. These are the fourth and fifth bridges over the Danube, which have strategic, economic, and social significance, as they will connect key traffic routes, making the fourth bridge at Šodroš the first Novi Sad bridge over the Danube. The fifth bridge is being built as part of the Fruška Gora Corridor, a bridge located at the furthest downstream point.
