Pro-government says Crvena zvezda’s unbeaten run survives a goalless test at OFK Beograd

Crvena zvezda remained unbeaten after a 0-0 draw at OFK Beograd, where an early offside goal and disciplined defending kept the league leaders from claiming all three points.

Crvena zvezda and OFK Beograd drew 0-0 at Omladinski Stadium in the 13th round of the Serbian SuperLiga, allowing the defending champions to extend their unbeaten start to the league season.

The visitors began with the stronger attacking initiative after returning to the Omladinski Stadium for the first time in 13 years. In the seventh minute, Katai’s effort was pushed behind for a corner by OFK goalkeeper Draškić. Five minutes later, Krunić tested the goalkeeper again, but his shot lacked power.

Crvena zvezda appeared to take the lead in the 14th minute. Katai finished after receiving the ball from Krunić, but the goal was ruled out for offside. The decision was described in the live report as correct, with Katai positioned clearly beyond the last defender.

OFK Beograd responded with its best chance of the opening half in the 20th minute. Momčilović rounded goalkeeper Radanović and shot from a difficult angle, but the ball travelled across the face of goal rather than into the net.

Neither side could break the deadlock after the interval. The result left Crvena zvezda at the top of the table with 34 points, while OFK Beograd remained 11th with the same reported points total. Crvena zvezda will next visit Mačva in Šabac, while OFK Beograd is scheduled to host Vojvodina in the 14th round.
