Intensified Traffic Control in Ulcinj Ahead of Holidays: 35 Drivers Sanctioned, One Arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Substances
Ulcinj police and border police have intensified traffic controls ahead of the May Day holidays, with a special emphasis on driving under the influence of alcohol and psychoactive substances, as well as on persons of operational interest and members of organized criminal groups. In the past 24 hours, police controlled 108 persons and 96 vehicles and drivers in the territory of that municipality. Of this number, 81 drivers were tested for alcohol, and 35 were sanctioned for violations. Also, several persons of operational interest were controlled, one of whom, H.D. from Rožaje, was arrested for driving under the influence of psychoactive substances, according to the Police Directorate.
