The Office of the High Representative in BiH Privatized
NEW YORK – Russian Ambassador to the United Nations Vasily Nebenzya today called, during a United Nations Security Council session on the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, for the immediate abolition of the Office of the High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina (OHR), stating that the institution has been "privatized" and represents the main factor of instability in the country. Nebenzya said that a "protectorate" has been established in Bosnia and Herzegovina, citing what he assessed as the illegal appointment of outgoing High Representative in BiH Christian Schmidt as High Representative.
