ZLF Proposed Amendments to the Education Law to Prevent Party-Based Hiring in Schools
The Green-Left Front (ZLF) today proposed a set of amendments to the Law on the Fundamentals of the Education System, which, as they stated, "abolish the arbitrary power of ministers and party-based appointment of school principals, as well as political influence on school life," and give much greater powers and responsibilities to school boards, i.e., parents of pupils and school staff.
