Stanojević Lasted the Whole Season
The departure of Saša Ilić from the bench of the black and whites continues the inglorious tradition of coaches not lasting the entire season in Humska. The last competitive year in which the same head of the professional staff lasted the whole season was Aleksandar Stanojević. The black and whites then won second place with 98 points, but did not manage to catch up to Crvena zvezda, which won the title and the cup at the end.
TL;DR
- Saša Ilić's departure marks another instance of a coach not completing a season at Partizan.
- Aleksandar Stanojević was the last coach to manage a full season, finishing second in the league.
- A series of coaches, including Ilija Stolica, Gordan Petrić, Igor Duljaj, Albert Nađ, and Aleksandar Stanojević (in his third term), have had short tenures.
- Savo Milošević's second term was also brief, ending with a change in club management.
- Marko Jovanović finished the autumn part of the 2024/25 season without a PRO license.
- Srđan Blagojević had two separate stints as head coach, both ending with his dismissal.
- Nenad Stojaković and Damir Čakar also had very short periods as head coach.
