City's Patron Saint's Day Celebrated at the Old Palace
The patron saint's day of the capital city, Ascension Day, was celebrated yesterday at the Old Palace with prayer and cake cutting. On behalf of Patriarch Porfirije, Bishop Petar of Toplica consecrated and broke the cake together with Mayor Aleksandar Šapić. The ceremony was also attended by Đuro Macut, the Prime Minister.
