Head of Croatian Criminal Police Fatally Shot in Krapina Cafe

Robert Grilec, the head of the criminal police in Krapina-Zagorje County, was fatally shot in a cafe by his neighbor. The assailant then shot himself and was transported to a hospital, where he later died. Grilec was described by colleagues as an excellent officer who had previously received a state award.
