Valjevo's Sky Bows Again to a Hero

On May 4th, with the sound of fighter jet engines and prayerful remembrance, Valjevo paid tribute to its immortal knight – Lieutenant Colonel Pilot Milenko Pavlović. On the occasion of the 27th anniversary of the heroic death of the 'Icarus from Podgorina,' who laid down his life defending the sky over the then FR Yugoslavia during the NATO aggression, a memorial service was held at the monument in Valjevo, once again confirming the greatness of his sacrifice.
