Nedavno istraživanje pokazalo je da neke keramičke šolje koje se prodaju u Srbiji sadrže opasne materije. Istraživanje pod imenom „Gutljaj koji teže pada“ utvrdilo je da od 30 ispitanih proizvoda, pet nije bilo bezbedno za korišćenje zbog toga što je imalo nedozvoljene količine olova i kadmijuma.
