INTERVIEW Gordana Janićijević, VJT Public Prosecutor on the Eurojust Case: Interest Groups Wanted Cooperation with the EU Against Crime to Stop
The High Prosecutorial Council did not extend the mandate of Gordana Janićijević, Public Prosecutor of the Supreme Public Prosecutor's Office, who for six years served as the liaison prosecutor with Eurojust, the European Union agency for judicial cooperation in criminal matters, based in The Hague. Through Eurojust, EU member states and candidate countries improve the fight against serious cross-border and organized crime by coordinating investigations and prosecutions.
