Mandatory written contracts in the trade of agricultural products
Concluding contracts between agricultural producers and those involved in procurement and processing will become an obligation. Yesterday's decision by the Government of Serbia stipulated that a written contract must be concluded with every delivery of agricultural products, and this will apply to the trade of cereals (commercial wheat and corn), as well as fruits and vegetables. New rules apply to fresh agricultural products: tomatoes, onions and garlic, cabbage, carrots, cucumbers and gherkins, peppers, apples, sour cherries, plums, raspberries, blackberries, and blueberries.
