Faculty of Economics Dean Žaklina Stojanović told N1 that agriculture is a strategic sector that cannot be viewed solely as an economic category, but also as a social and political issue. She assessed that domestic farmers, especially family farms, are in a serious crisis due to low purchase prices and rising costs, and that long-term, systemic solutions are needed to stabilize the food market instead of ad hoc measures.
