Every Serb should know the story of soldier Miloje: A church was built in his native village due to one act
Miloje Nikolić from Leović near Ljubovija, a soldier from the Balkan wars, is remembered as the first recorded skin donor. Severely wounded, he donated a part of his body in the hospital to save an officer's life. For this feat, he was awarded the Order of Karađorđe.
