Bajatović: Serbia has no energy shortages, no "cans" either

The General Director of "Srbijagas", Dušan Bajatović, stated today, regarding the energy crisis caused by the destruction of energy facilities in the Middle East, that the most important thing is that there are no energy shortages in Serbia, no restrictions on fuel purchases, and that, as he says, there will be no "cans" either.

Bajatović: Serbia has no energy shortages, no "cans" either

TL;DR

  • Serbia has no energy shortages or fuel purchase restrictions.
  • The country has secured import licenses and has sufficient fuel reserves.
  • The government plans to avoid inflation by potentially increasing the budget deficit and maintaining wages and pensions.
  • Gas reserves are sufficient for about six months of summer consumption and three months of winter consumption.
  • Fuel reserves include over 90 days of diesel, about 60 days of gasoline, and one month of kerosene, excluding military supplies.
