Bor residents ready for a boxing spectacle

The professional boxing scene in Serbia for this year begins with the Balkan Boxing 7 event, scheduled for March 28 at the Sports Hall in Bor. A joint press conference was held yesterday. The President of the Boxing Federation of Serbia, Nenad Borovčanin, along with match participants in Bor, Serbian boxing's golden boy Jovan Nikolić, and one of North Macedonia's top young boxers, Matej Čatlevski, discussed future plans. Elite professional boxing is often described as a brutal chess match, combining elite technique and strategic skill. This country has produced many great champions in the professional ring, such as Slobodan Kačar, Ljubiša Simić, and others, leading many to question whether current ring masters possess the strength and potential for such great sporting achievements as Kačar and Simić.
