In the immediate vicinity of the settlement of Bašaid near Kikinda, a horrific sight of dead wild animals was discovered, which caused an urgent reaction from the competent services and environmental organizations. According to BirdLife Serbia (Society for the Protection and Study of Birds of Serbia), there is strong suspicion of intentional or unintentional poisoning, which threatens to endanger the rarest species in our country.
