Only a Team Can Treat Bowel Diseases
This year's sixth medical conference dedicated to inflammatory bowel diseases, ulcerative colitis, and Crohn's disease, held at the Clinical-Hospital Center "Zvezdara", did not coincidentally bear the name "holistic". As explained by Srđan Marković, a gastroenterologist at this institution, to bring these diseases under control, a holistic approach is needed, i.e., integrating knowledge from several medical specialties.
