Неуобичајено богат род кромпира у Немачкој подстакао је берлинског пољопривредника да организује аукцију, док се грађани позивају да широм престонице бесплатно преузму вишкове овог поврћа. Немци воле кромпир, а према званичној статистици, годишње поједу у просеку 63 килограма по особи, али је рекордан вишак који су пољопривредници произвели током последње жетве затекао чак и највеће љубитеље овог поврћа, пренео је Гардијан.
