A robot host welcomed and greeted attendees at the 20th Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, where the latest planetary wonders in artificial intelligence were presented. At the same time, city officials are introducing a special pilot program involving 600 humanoid robots distributed in private homes for the elderly and care centers. Their task will be to assist the elderly and perform certain tasks for them, Spanish media reported. This is a project worth nearly four million euros.
