Indija će sklapati ruski putnički avion SJ-100
Indija pravi još jedan veliki korak ka sopstvenoj proizvodnji putničkih aviona u regionalnom segmentu. Sporazum koji su u Hajderabadu potpisali državni proizvođač Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) i ruska Objedinjena avio-korporacija (UAC) predviđa dvostepeni model uvođenja regionalnog mlaznog aviona SJ-100 na indijsko tržište: najpre kroz lizing i redovnu eksploataciju, a zatim kroz licencnu montažu i prodaju iz Indije.

TL;DR
- India and Russia's UAC have signed an agreement for the production of the SJ-100 regional jet.
- The partnership involves a two-stage model: initial leasing and operation, followed by licensed assembly and sales in India.
- The leasing phase will provide real-world data on the aircraft's reliability and costs, aiding in its validation under Indian regulations.
- HAL will be integral to the certification process, simplifying future adaptations.
- Licensed production will allow HAL to assemble, sell, and produce parts for the SJ-100 in India.
- The SJ-100's design avoids Western components, mitigating risks from international sanctions.
- This "operate first, produce later" model has been successfully used in India's military aviation sector.
- India's regional aircraft market is projected to exceed 1,800 planes in the coming years, with high demand in the 80-150 seat category.
- A parallel initiative involves the assembly of Brazilian regional jets in India, creating a competitive landscape for local production models.
- Successful implementation could transform India from an importer to an exporter of regional jets.
