У протеклих неколико месеци широм Србије 16 школских сала унапређено је кроз пројекат „Паметна сала”, где је свака од њих названа по истакнутом кошаркашу или члану кошаркашке заједнице, почев од Основне школе „Краљ Петар Први” у Београду у којој су, као бивши ученици, изабрани Зоран Славнић и Драган Капичић. И онда даље, кроз Нови Сад (Марија Вегер Демшар), Ново Милошево (Ранко Жеравица), Чачак (Драган Кићановић), Ниш (Данијела Илић), Кикинду (Предраг Богосављев), Шабац (Микан Грушановић)…
