- NIS has resumed operations after nearly 100 days of sanctions.
- Russian owners are being replaced, with Hungary's MOL and the UAE as potential buyers.
- Serbia intends to increase its share in NIS by acquiring an additional 5% of shares.
- Small shareholders currently have no role in the sale between major owners.
- If a buyer acquires over 25% of NIS shares, they must offer to buy out small shareholders.
- Serbia could potentially acquire more than 5% if it initiates a public takeover bid.
- Forced buyouts of small shareholders by the state are only possible if the state controls at least 90% of the company.
