The most frequent targets of robbers in the city in recent months are pharmacies, smaller shops, and kiosks. It is worrying that children – boys, girls, and older minors – are carrying out robberies. The police have so far solved almost all cases of robberies in pharmacies. Out of 38 pharmacy robberies last year, they solved 35. It turned out that most of these robberies were committed by younger minors. Since they are "invisible" before the law, they are referred to the Center for Social Work and relevant institutions. But the question arose whether the owners of smaller establishments can do something to secure their premises and employees.
