TL;DR

Iran secretly obtained a Chinese spy satellite named TEE-01B.
The satellite was built by China's Earth Eye Co. and acquired by Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Air Force in late 2024.
The satellite was used to monitor key US military locations in the Middle East.
Images were captured in March, before and after drone and missile attacks on these sites.
Monitored locations include Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia, Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan, and sites near the US Navy's Fifth Fleet base in Bahrain and Erbil Airport in Iraq.
As part of the deal, Iran gained access to commercial ground stations operated by Emposat, a Beijing-based satellite service provider.
