Eurozone citizens expect inflation of up to 4 percent, far higher than projected by the European Central Bank

Eurozone citizens expect average inflation in the next 12 months to be four percent, which is significantly higher compared to the February inflation projection of 2.5 percent and the highest figure since October 2023, according to research published today by the European Central Bank (ECB) for March.
