Ljubivoje Ršumović Awarded for Lifetime Achievement: 'If We Teach Children to Think, We Will Have a Smart Nation'

A ceremony was held at the National Library of Serbia on the occasion of the awarding of one of the most significant cultural awards in our country – the 'Dositej Obradović' award for lifetime achievement. This year's laureate is the legendary children's poet and writer Ljubivoje Ršumović (1939), whose work has shaped generations of young people in the former Yugoslavia and Serbia. The prestigious award was presented to him by Duško Babić, president of the Managing Board of the Dositej Foundation.
