Through her husband, actor Milivoj Mića Tomić, she met and interacted with many prominent figures from the arts and culture.
Tomić was a proud local of Čukarica, where she was born and completed her early education.
In a collection of film critics' writings, she expressed no regrets about her career, cherishing her time as a film reporter and critic and advising younger colleagues to pursue their passions with love.
Her dedication to film was passed on to her son, Miodrag Miško Tomić, an archaeologist.
Her last article was published in "Politika" in February of the previous year.
She will be buried at Topčidersko Cemetery.
