Turkey Announces Video of New Kamikaze Drone: Based on Artificial Intelligence and Planned for Deep Operations

Baykar will present the Mizrak, an intelligent and autonomous long-range drone, at the Saha 2026 fair.
The Mizrak has an operational range over 1,000 km and an endurance of more than seven hours.
It is designed for deep ground-to-ground operations and long-endurance reconnaissance with real-time strike capabilities.
Two versions will be available: a heavy strike variant with a dual 40 kg warhead and a 20 kg single warhead variant using an RF seeker.
The drone has a four-meter wingspan, a maximum takeoff weight of 200 kg, and can be equipped with electro-optical and infrared cameras.
It can reach 10,000 feet, has a max speed of approximately 185 km/h, and can take off from standard or demanding terrains.
An AI-based autopilot system allows for GPS-denied operation using optical guidance and visual positioning, enabling autonomous navigation, target localization, and attacks.
It has an 80 km line-of-sight communication range and can network with other Baykar drones like the Bayraktar TB2, TB3, and Akıncı.
