These are the best domestic romantic comedies, but there is one big 'but'
Our films are mostly too dark and serious to deal with both romance and comedy at the same time. We often deal with comedy, but either engaged and serious, or the folksy kind - at the level of someone falling, someone farting, and someone swearing.
