Milena Damnjanović and Vladimir Gligorić Combine Serbian and Chinese Songs at Guarnerius

On Wednesday, February 25, starting at 8 PM, Guarnerius will host an evening of Serbian and Chinese songs - soprano Milena Damnjanović's concert titled 'One Heart, Two Worlds.' This unique musical event is dedicated to the dialogue between two cultures through the form of solo song. With piano collaboration by Vladimir Gligorić, the young artist will perform a carefully selected repertoire of works by masters of classical Serbian music, such as Binički and Konjović, as well as contemporary Serbian authors. The part of the concert dedicated to Chinese composers will feature gems of Chinese solo song (like 'Ode to a Lonely Orchid'), which are rarely performed in our region and require specific vocal techniques.
