ELECTRICITY FROM THE ROOF: Construction of a solar power plant on the municipal administration building in Mali Zvornik
Work on installing solar panels on the municipal administration building in Mali Zvornik has resumed in recent days after a short interruption due to heavy snow in January.

TL;DR
- Installation of a 45 kW solar power plant is underway on the municipal administration building in Mali Zvornik.
- The investment is valued at 3.6 million dinars and is co-financed by the European Union through the Interreg VI-A IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Croatia–Serbia.
- The project's goals include improving energy efficiency of public buildings, reducing electricity costs and CO₂ emissions, and promoting renewable energy.
- Alongside the solar panels, part of the building's joinery (doors and windows), thermal insulation, and facade will be upgraded with support from the Ministry of Mining and Energy.
- The solar plant will operate on a prosumer basis, with an estimated annual production of 70,000 kWh, nearly covering the building's consumption.
