TL;DR
- Serbia's gas supply is secured until January 1, 2028, through an extension of its gas arrangement with Russia.
- Households will not face price increases, and businesses may see slightly lower gas prices.
- The existing contract's oil-based pricing formula, calculated over nine months, insulates Serbia from immediate European market price hikes.
- Serbia's gas reserves are 120 million cubic meters in Hungary and 478 million cubic meters in Banatski Dvor.
- Expansion of the Banatski Dvor storage facility will double its daily production capacity.
- New gas pipeline interconnections, including one towards Romania, are under construction.
