Additional excise duties on gasoline and diesel reduced

In Serbia, excise duties levied by the state on unleaded gasoline and diesel have been further reduced starting today, as provided for by amendments to the Decree on Limiting the Prices of Oil Derivatives, adopted by the Government.

  • Serbia has further reduced excise duties on unleaded gasoline and diesel.
  • The new excise duty on unleaded gasoline is 54 dinars per liter, and on diesel is 55.53 dinars per liter.
  • These reduced rates are in effect until April 24th.
  • This is a further reduction of 3.6 dinars for gasoline and 3.7 dinars for diesel compared to previous temporary reductions.
  • The full excise duty amounts according to the Law on Excise Duties are 72 dinars for unleaded gasoline and 74.04 dinars for diesel.
  • The initial reduction of excise duties was 20% and was in effect from March 13th until April 15th.
