OVO APSOLUTNO MORATE ZNATI PRE REZERVACIJE ODMORA!

TL;DR
- Scammers are using stolen photos and unrealistically low prices to advertise non-existent accommodations in Croatia.
- These fraudulent listings often promise constant availability, which is unusual for popular destinations.
- Red flags include drastically cheaper prices than the market average, identical pricing throughout the season, and limited payment options like only bank transfers.
- Communication is often restricted to messaging apps like Viber, WhatsApp, or Messenger, avoiding direct calls or meetings.
- Suspicious websites may be new, have hidden domain owner details, or feature absurd offers, like beach apartments in landlocked cities.
- Grammatical errors, non-functional social media buttons, and strange social media profile names with altered identities are also indicators of scams.
- Evidence of these scams has been shared in online groups, with one case involving photos stolen from platforms like Booking.com.
- The trend was noted by Slovenian portal Siol.net, which published warnings about these recurring fraudulent methods.
